During the month of November, Catholics are invited to lovingly remember our deceased relatives and friends. Here at Saint Mary's, we begin this month of prayer by offering a special Mass for All Souls, which is a particularly beautiful and moving celebration of the Eucharist each year.

Since November 2nd falls on a Sunday this year, all of our weekend Masses will have some focus on our prayer for the deceased.

WE INVITE YOU to join us for our special Mass for All Souls on Sunday evening, November 2nd at 7:00 p.m. At this Sunday evening Mass, you will have the opportunity to light a candle in memory of your deceased loved ones. We also invite you to bring a framed copy (no larger than 8 by 5, please) of photos of family members who have died. You will place these photos around the altar, and they will be honored during Masses throughout November (please do not bring originals of these photos, and please place your name on the back of the frame).

As part of our sung prayer that evening, soprano Anne O'Byrne will serve as cantor and soloist. After this Sunday evening Mass, you are invited to a reception in the Upper Commons.

Please note - we ask you to bring the photos of your deceased loved ones ONLY to the Sunday evening Mass, and NOT to the other Masses that weekend. You will be welcome to place them around the altar on the weekend of November 8-9.
