A celebration of prayer, outreach and community
Join us for an opportunity to pray together, eat together and serve our neighbors together!
On June 6, we celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi – the Body & Blood of Christ. As we give thanks for the Risen Lord, who IS the “Bread of Life,” we will come together to recognize the presence of Christ in the Eucharist and in one another!
Our celebration that evening includes:
3:45 PM – As we gather, everyone who attends our gathering is asked to bring a loaf of bread which will be collected in the Commons, as you arrive. Every loaf of bread donated that evening will be delivered by parish volunteers to Salvation Army locations around Richmond, helping to provide nourishment to our neighbors who are in need.
4:00 PM – A holy hour of prayer in the church, including Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction. At this holy hour, we will inaugurate the use of our beautiful new Monstrance which was recently received by the parish
5:00 PM – 7:00 PM – Our celebration moves outside (weather permitting) for a picnic supper which includes chicken or pork BBQ, coleslaw, beverages, etc. Enjoy the opportunity to listen to live music & chat with other parishioners.
Please note: registration for dinner has closed, but all are welcome to attend the Holy Hour at 4:00 pm.
