National March for Life & Virginia Pro-Life Day

Come out and support the National March for Life on Friday, January 20, 2023! The theme of the 50th Annual March is “Next Steps: Marching in a Post-Roe America." Buses are being sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and will be available to transport you to and from Washington, DC on that day. Please contact Knights of Columbus member Rich Bemis at [email protected] to sign up to ride the buses and for additional details concerning departure location and time. Please remember to dress for the weather, bring along some food and drink for the ride, and have some cash with you. It will be a rewarding and fulfilling day for all!

The Virginia March for Life will take place in Capitol Square, Richmond, VA, on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.  There will be a Rally at 12 PM followed by the march at 1 PM.

The Richmond Diocese is supporting the Virginia March for Life this year. It is part of the Virginia Pro-Life Day which includes Defending Life Day in the morning. The event will be an opportunity to meet with elected officials about pro-life issues.  To help people prepare for conversations with elected officials, there will be a gathering that morning at the Convention Center. There is no Mass or specific prayer service this year.

You can attend just the Rally at 12 PM and the March at 1 PM if you do not want to attend the early morning events.  You should register to get updates, and can register just for the March (including the Rally).

If you would like more information or would like to register, please see this website for details.
