The Laurels at University Park
Our friends at The Laurels of University Park - Catherine Blanche and The Activity Gang - need our help! For their first activity, since Spring is on the horizon, The Laurels will be collecting flower seeds, flower bulbs, and bags of potting soil for their eight raised flower beds. For a second activity, they need supplies for their First Annual Easter Bonnet Parade. They need colorful ribbons, fake flowers, and any type of fun, Easter craft décor that they can use to glue to the bonnets.
If you are able to help with this, please leave your donations on the tables in the lower hallway between March 13th and March 16th. They will need these items delivered on March 17th. Thank you in advance for any goodies you can share!
SHOOD
SHOOD, a local outreach, turns running shoes into living shoes, believing that everyone should have the basic dignity of having a clean pair of shoes that fit!
We invite you to help support the work of this local outreach. You may support this outreach by making a donation to our Human Concerns Ministry and putting “SHOOD” in the memo. We will collect your donations and total them after Lent, sending SHOOD one check in support of their work. There is more information about SHOOD on their website: www.shood.org.
Your support not only helps students participate in athletics, but studies show that students who do participate in athletics earn better grades, improve school attendance, and have a higher graduation rate.
