EVENING PRAYER in the style of Taizé

Are you looking for an experience of peace in a world full of challenges? Are you seeking a way to pray about the difficult circumstances being faced by individuals and families? Do you want to pray for our communities and nation as we approach the upcoming election?

Join us each Tuesday evening during the month of October for Evening Prayer in the “Taizé” style. Beginning October 6 at 7:00 PM, our Church will be filled with candlelight and incense as we focus on a large wooden Cross. There will be a meditative proclamation of Scripture readings, followed by silence. During the service, we will sing the peaceful music of the Taizé Community in France (you already know many of these songs, such as “Jesus Remember Me,” “Eat this Bread,” and “Wait for the Lord”).

As with all of the liturgies which happen in our Church right now, we ask you pre-register for each Evening Prayer service that you plan to attend.  Everyone age ten and older will be required to bring and wear a face mask, and everyone will be asked screening questions as you come into the Church.

Please join us for this prayerful hour each Tuesday of October!
