PARISH REGISTRATION - The only way to register with St. Mary's is to attend a
Parish Registration/Orientation meeting. At this meeting you will be introduced to the staff and the ministries of our parish as well as filling out the proper forms.

Our next Registration/Orientation will take place on . . .

Sunday, July 20, 2008 - 12:30 pm
in the Bishop Sullivan Room.

Diocesan Pastoral Planning Impacts Us All!!

"Diocesan Pastoral Planning is a prayerful and consultative process rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and consistant with the teachings of the Church, the Code of Canon Law, and the directives of the Bishop. Diocesan pastoral planning aids the Bishop in his pastoral ministry and advises him on the effective use of pastoral resources and recommending ways to best use our assets." In this effort, the parish of the diocese are divided into Local Planning Areas (LPA's). St. Mary's parish representatives are: Cathy Ackers, Rich Bemis, and Marian Dolliver. Let's keep the process and our parish reps in prayer!

For more information on the Pastoral Planning process, visit the diocesan webpage: www.richmonddiocese.org/planning.

Daily Mass Location

Daily Mass will be celebrated in the Bishop Sullivan Room, located directly under the New Church in the Early Childhood Development Center. Park and enter on the side of the building closest to Pinchbeck Elementary School (doors are located below the Blessed Sacrament Chapel window) and once you are in the building, turn right into the new wing. The room is on the right as you walk down the hall.

Votive Candles

If you would like to light a votive candle in honor of or in memory of someone, offering envelopes can be found just outside the main doors to the church. Envelopes may be returned to the church office or in the collection basket.

SUNDAY NIGHT DINNERS

Our next Sunday Night Dinner will be held on Sunday, July 20 at 6:30 pm in the Lower Commons. Our meal will be Chef Gene's hamburgers hot off the grill, homemade cole slaw, baked beans, chips, and a cool summer dessert and beverages. Plan to come on over, relax, and let us serve you a great picnic meal.

Children's Liturgy of the Word

CLOW is taking a break for the month of July. We will return in early August. We are looking for a few more prayer leaders. Contact John Sweet if you would be will to help at either the 9:00 am or 11:00 am Mass.

We are also looking for a few 5th - 8th grade young people who would be interested in helping with Children's Liturgy of the Word as Readers. Go to the Youth Page for more details.
