Rejoice and Be Glad!

The Call to Holiness in Today's World

In March, Pope Francis published an apostolic exhortation inviting all Christians to reflect more deeply on the call to live holy lives in the      contemporary world. By focusing on the Beatitudes and the example of the Saints, Pope Francis has provided profound spiritual insights which can be applied to our daily lives. Join us as Father Michael Renninger leads us in a four-part study of this important document from the Holy Father.

Each week Fr. Renninger will focus on a portion of the Pope’s document, Gaudete Et Exsultate-Rejoice and Be Glad. These presentations will take place on Thursday evenings at 7 o’clock, with the same presentation repeated on Friday mornings at 10 o’clock. The 90 minute sessions will include time for questions. We will meet in the Upper Commons of the Church on:

August 2nd, 9th 16th, and 23rd at 7 p.m.

August 3rd, 10th, 17, and 24th at 10 a.m.

For information or to register call 804-740-4044 or register online here.

Participants are asked to read sections of the Pope's document in preparation for each discussion.  Resources will be available in the Parish Office. You may also read the document on the Vatican website here.
