Haiti Water Project: This year, St. Mary's Lenten Outreach will support our Haiti Ministry's effort to bring clean water to the children, individuals and families of Angouman, Haiti. We know that clean drinking water is essential for good health and we plan to install a solar powered pump on the well that will deliver water to the school, the rectory and to the marketplace. Our goal is to raise money which will go towards the purchase of equipment, shipment, installation and future maintenance. Our water team has made amazing progress this past year, and we feel now is the time to make this dream of fresh potable water in Haiti a reality. We invite you to take a red envelope from the basket on the What's Mine Is Yours table in the Commons in support of our water project and return your donation to the basket in the Commons or to the Human Concerns office during Lent. Thank you for your generosity.
If you have any questions about the Haiti Ministry, please contact Rebecca Oxenreider at the parish office 804-740-4044 or the Haiti Committee Chairperson, David Park at email@example.com.
